Jasper is a male gnome, and is Cel's research assistant.

Personality[]
Jasper appears to be a young, eager gnome who is easily excitable about matters concerning explosives, heroism and danger. He is very curious and is eager to be involved in the type of adventures that the party is involved in, and dislikes being kept at a distance when the party discuss serious matters like 'saving the world'.
History[]
Jasper first appears in episode 130: Violent Reactions after the party find him knocked unconscious by Shoin's henchmen outside of Cel's workshop. After Cel heals him, it becomes apparent that Jasper is Cel's assistant, and helps them around the workshop by performing tasks Cel sets out for him, both work-related as well as more mundane tasks like cooking and serving tea. It appears that in return Cel is training him in alchemy, and teaching him about explosives and other fields of expertise that Jasper is interested in.

Jasper is Cel's research assistant and the two of them also appear to have somewhat of a teacher and pupil relationship, as Cel is training Jasper. Cel appears quite protective of Jasper, and there is a clear fondness between the two of them. In general Jasper appears to listen to Cel quite well, although he tries to get himself involved in conversations and potentially dangerous missions (such as the mission to the Shoin Institute) despite Cel's protests.
